Oasis was an English pop rock band formed in 1991. In its beginnings the band was called The Rain and the group consisted of singer Chris Hutton, guitarist Paul Arthurs, bassist Paul McGuigan and drummer Daniel Alexander. Some time later they were joined by Liam Gallagher as singer and Tony McCarroll as drummer. It was then when the band was renamed Oasis. It was a pop music group that sold many records. The bombshell came with the release of Be Here Now and it became the best-selling album in the history of the United Kingdom.
